This simple bracket is a quick and easy way to setup things that need support. Instead of searching for specific shaped sticks this gives you peace of mind and save you time by having options ready to go. I find this most useful for making emergency/primitive bivy shelters or making quick hangers for cooking over a fire.
Holes are approximately 1" in diameter. Best practice is to whittle larger sticks down for a friction fit. If using for a fire make sure to keep it a good distance from the fire by using long sticks, plastic can warp and melt easily if it gets hot. You can also shield it with other objects if needed.
